LAURA WORSFOLD - PRINCIPLE OSTEOPATH
d.o.BSC (HONS) OST. DIP PT. DIP ST

"My interest in health and how the body works, first began at school where I enjoyed playing an array of different sports including netball, hockey, squash and swimming, as well as providing exercise and staying fit and healthy. From here the natural progression was to study as a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist, which I did in 2002, gaining a good understanding of sports injuries and rehabilitation. I then went on to study Sports Science and Psychology at university as my first degree, working alongside athletes.

This gave me an interest in learning more about the bio-mechanics of the body, which in turn, led on to studying for an Osteopathy degree, where I qualified from the European School of Osteopathy. After completing a 4-year degree course, comprising of Cranial, Structural and Visceral Osteopathy, I continued at post graduate level training in Cranial Osteopathy at the Sutherland Cranial College in London, and Biodynamic Osteopathy in Finland and the UK, where I also expanded my knowledge of Obstetrics and Paediatrics.

I have worked in a number of paediatric clinics, often working closely with midwives, health visitors and lactation consultants to help nursing mothers and infants with latching difficulties, such as tongue tie.

I am a member of the GOsC (General Osteopathic Council) and truly enjoy my work. With all the knowledge I have gathered over the years, both through formal training and experience gained in practice, I feel that I can give patients a wealth of information and the practical treatments to aid them in becoming healthier and ultimately pain free."

Emma Roussac-Evans
(Osteopath, Sports Massage Therapist and Reflexologist) BSc. Hons.

"I am Emma Roussac-Evans and I qualified as an osteopath at The College of Osteopaths (COET) in 2004. I also have a qualification in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy, Reflexology and nutrition.

My aim as your Osteopath is to help you achieve a healthy body through treatment, exercise and nutrition advice, in a way that suits your individual needs.

As we are all different, what suits one person may not suit another. I practice all kinds of Osteopathy: musculo-skeletal, visceral and cranial.

I use a combination of manipulation, mobilisation, soft tissue/massage, stretching, rehabilitative exercise, and nutrition advice to try to achieve an optimum environment within the body, to allow the individual's self- healing, self-maintaining and self-regulating processes to take place."

(Osteopath, Sports Massage Therapist) M Ost

"I studied Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy, adding a Diploma in Animal Osteopathy the following year. I am also qualified in sports massage and dry needling.

My approach is structural, incorporating a mixture of soft tissue (including deep tissue) techniques, joint manipulation, dry needling and physical therapy. The exercises I offer are always tailored to be realistic in number and manageable to suit each person's lifestyle and abilities

I particularly enjoy treating sporty patients, stress induced aches and pains and all sorts of DIY related injuries, as I can relate! Helping patients with chronic headaches is also interesting and rewarding.

When I'm not in clinic, I'm usually out treating horses and the odd dog!"
